Just over a year ago, UOWFC and the whole Illawarra footballing community mourned the passing of Peter Bannister. To all of us though, he was known simply as “Banno” and was the heart and soul of our club.

This weekend (9th and 10th of May) we would like all UOWFC teams to honour Banno’s memory by wearing black armbands and to take a moment to remember the man who made our club to what it is today.
