UOWFC would like to welcome Neil Blackmore who has been appointed as our First Grade District League coach for the 2024 season.

Neil is a FA qualified coach from the UK who has coached representative, community and grassroots football across youth development and senior football in Australia and the UK. Neil is an ex-Norwich City academy player before his family emigrated to Australia where he went on to play representative and state football and senior football for Sydney United, Sutherland Sharks and the Sydney Cosmos.

He describes himself as being passionate about the game and enjoys a playing style which is attacking, and possession based. He continues to be passionate about developing his coaching expertise, style and philosophy and loves working with players and coaches across all levels of the game.
